SALIC has Full Acquired Mriya Argo Holding Company
The Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) has announced that SALIC UK, a subsidiary of SALIC has fully acquired Mriya Agro Holding Company, one of the largest agricultural companies in Ukraine, the acquisition was announced last night in Kiev, Ukraine, in the presence of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Saudi Ambassador to Ukraine Jedai Zaban Al-Hathal, SALIC UK Chairman Mr. Khaled Al-Aboodi, SALIC CEO Mr. Matthew Jansen and the Senior officials of SALIC.
SALIC UK acquisition of Mriya Agro follows the company's strategy of investing in leading specialist companies.
It is worth mentioning that SALIC started its operations in 2012 to invest in agricultural and animal products and is actively pursuing investment opportunities in countries with comparative advantage and attracting investment, it is a Saudi Joint Stock Company owned by the Public Investment Fund. Its Articles of Association stipulate that its activities in the field of agricultural investment and livestock production in countries with comparative advantages should contribute to achieving food security of the Kingdom and provision of food commodities and price stability.
